Hed Kandi for Models Own

Being the avid nail polish collector when I saw the new Hed Kandi for Models Own Collection I immediately knew, these had to be mine. There is something about the Models Own bottles that I just love, the packaging alone to me makes the polishes worth the money. The lid being the same shape as the bottle makes them so easy to organise and they look really cute. When I picked my choices up from Boots there was a 3 for 2 discount on throughout the store so I went for 3 and these were the colours I chose..

This collection is designed for holidays in the sun with Ibiza in mind and to me these have hit the nail on the head. Off to Ibiza, Zante or Malia this year.. this is the collection for you! Available in 6 shades the polishes are available at £5 each or the set of 6 for £20, which is a great price for a nail polish! 

The only downfall I have come across is that it takes a couple of coats to make these shades opaque which I know is common with a lot of varnishes out there, and like any other glitter polish, Ibiza Mix is a bugger to remove but this no longer bothers me as I have grown to love it.. its one of my go to polishes.

All in all I am a big fan and am really looking forward to going on holiday and getting a great tan to compliment these shades.

Finally Friday

This has been such a longggggg week and I am so happy its late afternoon on a Friday, my favourite time of the week.

Just had a message through that I won a giveaway, this never happens, so this has brightened up my day. Very excited to get the goodies from the giveaway, check out Dee's blog. Lovely little blog :) and she has another give away coming up soon so go follow.

I had 3 parcels arrive this morning, all sat by my door when I got back from work...I love getting post. I think people should go back to writing to each other, seems much more thoughtful and precious coming through the post rather than email..anyway.. The first was my order from Elf that I ordered yesterday afternoon, now thats quick delivery!! (Sorry about the rubbish image quality, have managed to pack my camera wire so they are off my phone)

The second was some shoes :) I persuaded myself into buying these. See, I dont have any smart black shoes so needed some new ones....honest :D My other three pairs just wont do obviously. They are so pretty, I am now thinking of when I can go out next so I can wear them.

The third was my order from ASOS, I used one of my £9 for £20 vouchers and got some St Tropez Mousse and Models Own nail pen and polish. Still have another voucher to use but undecided on what to use it on, any suggestions!?

Thought I would share a project with you that I have come across. Its a project by Stina Jones (check her out on Twitter) who created a new doodle every day for a year. This was done to raise funds for the charity Shelter, through art sales and donations. I love ALL of the doodles, and will be getting some off her website by the end of the weekend.

Bang tidy!!

Thought I would check in quickly whilst watching Celebrity Juice, still got to pack for the weekend before bed so multi-tasking it is :)

Have had such a boring week so far, so I am very VERY excited for the weekend. Going back to Oxfordshire to see the family and the girls, a fun weekend is much needed. I have been looking at beautiful posts on nail art and its really making me want to attempt to go a bit further than a lick of paint.  Sooooo I have ordered 2 of the nail art pens from Models Own, I am very excited to have a play. Hurry up Mr Postman. You also get a free eye liner with a purchase over £5, so free eye liner...bonus :) Any tips on using the nail art pens would be much appreciated as Im a complete novice :)

I got my phone upgrade last week FINALLY, I have been waiting for about a year. Got me an iphone 4 and I loves it. The only problem is that I cant put it down so the battery is drained pretty much every day :S I am sure I will get better :) Hopefully.
